Stuffed Crust Pizza The Easy Way

Pizza Hut's stuffed crust pizza is one of the best takeaway pizzas there is but it is also expensive. If you were a whizz in the kitchen you could probably make your own, but alas I'm not so I turn to others to do it for me, and that's where Tesco come in. They can help me make my own stuffed crust pizza, the easy way.

Tesco sell a pre-made stuffed crust pizza base that you add your own toppings to and bake at home. It's not as big as a Pizza Hut pizza but it's just right to share.

The Hubby and I will occasionally share one of these between us for lunch.

What you'll need:

Tomato Passata
Grated mozzarella
2 slices cooked ham
Mushrooms
Sweetcorn

Method:

Unwrap the pizza base and preheat the oven to 180ÂșC (fan-assisted).

The base already has a little tomato passata but it's not nearly enough so I bought extra.

Spoon the passata onto the base (as much as you would like) and spread around with the back of the spoon.

Sprinkle grated mozzarella (or cheese of your choice) over the passata.

Take the two slices of cooked ham and tear into small pieces. Place the pieces on top of the grated cheese.

At this point you can sprinkle a little more cheese on top of the ham if you choose. I do, but it's  up to personal preference.

Add a few sliced mushrooms and sprinkle sweetcorn on top.

Place in the oven for 10-12 minutes, keeping an eye on the pizza.

My oven can be temperamental so I always keep an eye on my food and remove it when I think it's ready. Sometimes it can be a few minutes before it is supposed to be ready.

Once your pizza is out of the oven allow to stand for a minute or two and then cut and serve.

What toppings would you add to your own stuffed crust pizza?
