The Snowman & The Snowdog 2014 - OUT NOW!

The Snowman & The Snowdog 2014

On 9th December 2012 Channel 4 released the original The Snowman and The Snowdog game on iOS and Android. Downloaded more than 1 million times in the UK and Ireland the game won awards. I am proud to say the Hubby runs the company that made this game.

So you can imagine my excitement when I found out that the Hubby would be making an updated version of The Snowman and The Snowdog game.

After months of hard work and long hours the game is released today! The Snowman & The Snowdog 2014 is available on iOS, AndroidAmazon and Windows phones. It costs £2.99 to download, and that's it, the game has NO in-app purchases.

Okay, it costs £2.99, but what do you get for your money?

In the original game you got to fly past Big Ben, over London City and surrounding areas. Collections and jigsaws were included and you flew to the North Pole. The original Snowman and The Snowdog was a great game but it was short. In the newer version they've rectified that.

In The Snowman & The Snowdog 2014 you don't just fly over London, there's other countries too. Fly over Sydney and see the Opera House, soar above Japan to catch a glimpse of Tokyo Tower and wing your way to San Francisco to fly over Alcatraz. And visit the North Pole to see a giant Christmas Tree.

The collectibles from the original game are there with new ones added. Geisha snow-women, snow-cowgirls and snowmen with surfboards, as well as flowers, boomerangs and cowboy hats. Collect jigsaw pieces in one area and you'll get a static picture from the film, and there's 27 pictures to collect!

Complete every route on easy mode and you unlock hard mode. Let me tell you now that hard mode is HARD. I've played the game a few times and I still kick myself when I miss a collectible!

With roughly 3 hours play time (according to my play through) The Snowman & The Snowdog 2014 will keep your little ones occupied for a while. But it's not just for your little ones, I love this game and if you like simple games you'll love it too. Tapping the screen speedily to collect things is as complicated as this game gets.

Check out the short video below to get a sneak peak at The Snowman & The Snowdog 2014.

Head over to the App Store on iOS if you own an iPhone or iPad. Google Play lists the game for all Android devices. The Snowman & The Snowdog 2014 is on Amazon's app store and you can find it on Windows app store too.

If you're one of my lovely readers from across the pond, don't fret, you can download it too! Find it on iOS costing $4.99. Amazon have it in their app store for $4.69. The Snowman & The Snowdog 2014 can be found in the Windows app Store for $4.49. For Android devices you'll find it in the Google Play store.

A fantastic christmassy game for all the family with more collectibles, more jigsaws and much more fun.

    1. The game is great for little ones because it's simple, our youngest loves it. I love the films too, it was such a great experience going to the premiere of The Snowman and The Snowdog.
