The Dinosaur That Pooped Review & Giveaway

The Dinosaur That Pooped Christmas is a Christmassy story about a boy called Danny. Although Danny already has lots of toys his Christmas list is long and Santa teaches Danny a lesson by leaving him an "unpleasant" present. What comes next is an amusing story about Danny and his present.

The rhyming in this book makes reading easy and entertaining for both reader and listener. Little Prince liked it so much he wanted to read himself but after trying and failing (it's a little hard for him) he asked me to carry on reading. He was amused by the story content and kept giggling to himself as I read.

I loved the illustrations, they're bright and colourful and help tell the story. This cringe-worthy story entertained both me and LP. The Dinosaur that Pooped Christmas is a great Christmassy read for younger children.

LP and I give The Dinosaur that Pooped Christmas 5 stars (out of 5).

The Dinosaur that Pooped a Planet

In The Dinosaur that Pooped a Planet Danny and his dinosaur are off on a trip to the Science Museum. While at the museum Danny and his dinosaur play in one of the rockets but something goes wrong and they end up in space!

After reading the Dinosaur that Pooped Christmas LP already knew what to expect and was impatient as he waited for the inevitable. He loved laughing as the dinosaur did his business and found one of the last pictures very funny.

Again LP and I give The Dinosaur that Pooped a Planet 5 stars.

The Dinosaur that Pooped the Past

The Dinosaur that Pooped the Past was our next read and LP was looking forward to it. On granny's birthday Danny and his dinosaur visit her to sing Happy Birthday and have dinner. After dinner they go outside to play on the swing and have some magical fun with time.

With this story although LP enjoyed listening I don't think he followed it as well as the others. The illustrations helped but I had to explain to him what happened after we'd finished reading. I found the some of the illustrations less colourful too. The Dinosaur that Pooped the Past gets 4 1/2 stars.
