Post Comment Love 19th - 21st August

Welcome back for another summery Post Comment Love, I hope the sun has been shining on you this week. Stephanie and I are looking forward to reading your posts!

This week I've noticed that my brain feels full all the time. I think it's because I'm trying to balance each work day with an outing with the boys. Taking one day off for every day spent working means that I'm worn out, my head feels like I've been on "go-fast" for weeks. By the time the boys are back at school I'll be ready for a holiday!

On the bright side though I've spent a lot of time with my boys on days out and various activities at home. We've made the best use of these holidays we could've without going on holiday and I'm pretty sure the boys are having a blast.

This week we've celebrated BP turning 12 and even though we didn't have anything special planned it turned out to be a pretty awesome day. A couple of BP's friends spent the entire day with us, we let them play in the pool, they watched a movie, and ate cake. I think we won at that birthday!

We've spent a lot of time at home this week enjoying the sun but we're away at Chester Zoo today. BP suggested it a few months ago and after a little research we decided to go, I'm just hoping the weather is good because we're planning on having a picnic while there.

While I love being able to spend so much time with the boys I'll be happy when we're back to routine. Sleeping in late and making trips to the supermarket daily is getting to me. Yesterday I got up early, enjoyed a few minutes alone before the boys got out of bed and found myself thinking of school mornings. I even told BP to get ready for school! Everyone laughed of course, they found it hilarious. The closer we get to the end of the holidays the more I'm looking forward to being back in my office every day getting plenty of blogging and reading done.

For now though I'll keep enjoying our days out, make sure the boys have some great memories from the holidays and think about work later.

With some children already back at school and others well on the way how are you coping? Are you looking forward to the children being back or are you secretly sad that the holidays will soon be over?

Newbie Showcase

There's no newbie this week, but there will be more in the coming weeks.

Over the past few weeks Stephanie and I have been discussing changing Newbie Showcase. Sometimes it's a struggle to find newbies and we end up with a gap like this week. Instead of worrying about finding newbies we've decided to change Newbie Showcase to Blogger Showcase.

It'll be the same showcase, just a new name and more open.

Now anyone is welcome. If you have a blog and you'd like to be featured then get in touch. Whether you have a blog that is just 1 week old or one that is 7 years old (or older!) you're welcome, it can be a beauty blog, fashion, lifestyle, parenting, anything you like. We'd love to hear from you.

Raise your profile, find new readers, or simply get featured!

So if you're a blogger and want to be featured then give us a shout! We love showcasing you lovely lot!

Pocolo

Each week you'll be able to link up from either of our sites and between us Stephanie and I will comment on every post linked.

The rules; Link up your best post written in the last week and we'd like you to comment on at least two other linked posts, as well as the hosts.

Help us spread the #PoCoLo word on Twitter and include the badge on your post.

If you'd like to be featured in our Blogger Showcase please do get in touch.

Thank you for popping by.
