It's Friday people! And that means it's also time for Post Comment Love - our little linky hosted by myself and Stephanie. With the kids at home things have been hectic and I'm struggling to keep on top of the housework. But that's just the norm for the school summer holidays. Days out, visiting friends, and a tween who refuses to sit still for even 10 minutes unless he's playing games has me feeling wiped out most of the time. By 9:30am I've done so much I want to sit all day and there's plans so I can't. Needless to say I'm looking forward to normal routines when the boys go back to school - then I may be able to catch up on all the rest I'm missing out on.
On a positive note though it's lovely spending so much time with my family. We've got safari parks, escape rooms, and day trips on our list, and with 3 weeks still left to go there's plenty of time. Last week we walked along the River Trent into Nottingham and had a lovely chat while walking in the sun. It's what summer is all about isn't it?
So despite being wiped out I'm going to carry on enjoying the holidays and hope that I don't falter before the holidays are over!
