Post Comment Love 5th - 7th October

It's Friday again, it keeps coming around doesn't it? Welcome back to another Post Comment Love with Stephanie and me. I have to just say I do love our little linky, there aren't tons of linkers but those that do stop by do it regularly and I love that. Thank you to all of you that keep this linky going. mwah.

I've finally managed to have a quiet week! All I've done this week is work on the blog and it's been wonderful. No outings, no school meetings, it's great!

Of course it does mean I don't have a lot to report. The boys are doing good at school and getting back into doing their chores regularly - I know, I was surprised too! - the Hubby is busy doing work on his game most days and the same for me. It's been nice to have a quiet week and be able to just sit and write. It really makes a difference to how I feel, I've even done housework first thing in a morning and the kitchen right now is sparkling because I do all my cleaning before I do the school run!

It has really made a difference though, having a clean kitchen to walk into when you're ready to do lunch is so much better than having to find an unused counter in the kitchen so I can cook. I wish I could keep it that way, but inevitably something will happen that means I get back to a messy kitchen. Oh well, the battles of motherhood hey?

This will be me next Tuesday - I might even have a nap!

I'm looking forward to going to Eden Hall next week, I haven't been for such a long time and the boys got me a day pack thing for Christmas last year that I hadn't used yet. The Hubby mentioned it a few weeks ago so I went ahead and booked it, and now it's almost here. A whole day just for me - heavenly. I have my breakfast sorted, my lunch cooked for me, and a massage booked too - it's a real pamper day and I cannot wait.

Have you ever been to a Spa? And if not how do you pamper yourself at home?

Blogger Showcase Emma from Bee Money Savvy

Who are you?

I'm Emma; a 20-something money blogger from Sheffield. :)

How did you discover blogs/blogging?

An old friend introduced me to blogging, she was going through a tough time and found blogging to be a really great way to express herself, so for a few years I blogged about personal topics with her.

Why did you start blogging?

After having such a great experience blogging with my friend I wanted to start blogging again but about something a little more practical, so I combined my money-savvyness with blogging last November and have been blogging on beemoneysavvy.com ever since.

What do you find most challenging?

For me the most challenging aspect of blogging was buying (and setting up) my own domain, I find the content creation pretty each but really struggle with the tech side of things!

What is your favourite topic to write about?

Money of course, I love helping people save and earn a little bit more money with practical tips and tricks.

Are you blogging for fun or do you have goals?

I started blogging for fun but would love to turn my hobby into a career; I wouldn't be a great money blogger if I didn't have some kind of money-driven goal (in the long-term).

What is your favourite thing about blogging?

Getting to call the shots on everything that is published on my blog, I get to design it exactly how I want - I have the power!

Have you ever attended a blogging conference and if so, what did you think?

I've never attended a blogging conference but would love to if my blog really took off!

What are your 3 best posts?

My 3 best posts have to be 'Free Tools for Bloggers'

Are you a tea and biscuits or coffee and cake person?

Has to be tea and biscuit (green tea if I can be picky).

What's your idea of a perfect night out?

My idea of the perfect night out would have to be a cinema date night with my girlfriend (I'm not much of a party girl).

Your perfect night in?

My girlfriend is a really great cook so it would start with her cooking us up a really great meal (thinking seafood linguine) and then snuggling on the sofa with a glass of wine and a good film!

What would your best friend/OH/mum or kids say is your best quality?

I think that my mum would say that my values are my best quality and how strongly I believe in sticking to my values.

Thanks for taking the time to answer our questions Emma, it sounds like you love your movies - me too! Please feel free to grab our 'featured' badge and display it ever-so-proudly on your blog.
