Post Comment Love 29th April - 2nd May

Welcome back for another week of Post Comment Love. Is it just me or are the week's flying by? I can't believe it's Friday again already, AND it's May on Sunday!

What's with all this snow?! It's nearly May and we're having more snow now than we did back in December. What's that all about? Once the flowers start blooming I think it's time for the weather to get warmer, NOT COLDER!!

We've had a pretty good week, despite the awful weather. I've managed to get lots of work done (blogging wise) and the boys are back into a good routine. My washing mountain is still a mountain but you can't have everything can you?

I've spent a lot of time thinking about the food I'm eating this week and trying to reduce the amount of sugar I eat. From Dolmio sauces to chocolate after lunch there's quite a lot of the sweet stuff in my diet and I know it needs to change. I've switched my slice of toast in a morning for a more healthier option and I'm even experimenting with cooking! I know, the Hubby must be brave right?

Yesterday we had a lovely (albeit limey) tomato salsa with ciabatta, it took a while but I chopped up my ingredients and mixed them all together. The salsa had chilli, tomatoes, spring onion, garlic, and lime juice, I think I need to play around with the amounts of stuff because it was very limey and a bit too hot. If I hit on the right amounts though I'll definitely share it with you, it'll be one of my cooking achievements!!

We had BP's parent's evening last night and I'm happy to report that he's doing really well. In almost all of his subjects he's already achieving marks he should be at by the end of the year, so we were really pleased. We couldn't have hoped for a better report.

I'm happy to be back into a normal routine now and hope it continues. How was your week?

Each week you'll be able to link up from either of our sites and between us Stephanie and I will comment on every post linked. The rules are still the same; your post needs to have been written in the last week and we'd like you to comment on at least two other linked posts, help us spread the #PoCoLo word on Twitter and include the badge on your post.

The Newbie Showcase is continuing and you'll find it alternating between us. Over the last few months we've had the odd issue with finding replacements for our Newbie Showcase when people have dropped out. As a result Stephanie and I have decided to change the rules slightly.

Now when you get in touch we'll ask you for your information before we give you a date when you'll be featured. Once we have your information we add you to our list and tell you when you'll be featured as our Newbie.

So far this is working much better than before and Stephanie's and my stress levels are significantly lower!

Please do pop over and say hi to this week's Newbie, you remember what it was like being a new blogger right? It's always nice to get a comment or two.

If you'd like to be featured in our Newbie Showcase please do email us at PostCommentLove@gmail.com

As it's a Bank Holiday on Monday we'll be leaving the linky open an extra day! Yay!

Thank you for popping by.
