If you've followed my blog for a while you'll know that I was writing a novel a while back and that I put it to one side in order to blog more. Since then I haven't written anything creative, until today when I was inspired by a photo I saw on StumbleUpon.

It is only short but it felt so good to write something creative!
Here's what I wrote...
She stood atop the sea of green looking down on her kingdom. White clouds rolled in over the distant hills as her people swept onto the beach.
One by one they entered the water, each knowing what was to come.
As the last person stepped into the water she smiled, the journey had begun.
Okay so it's not Shakespeare but it feels so good to write!
