I was tagged by the lovely Agent Spitback in the What Home Means To Me series a while ago and I thought now would be a great time to share my post.
That saying sums it up for me.
As long as I am with my children and the Hubby I am happy.
There are many things in this world that can make life easier; money, possessions, a job, but none of those things can replace the feeling of being loved.
You can be having the worst day ever but if you have someone there to turn to, to talk to, it somehow makes things easier.
I have never felt more 'at home' than I do when I'm with my family.
HOME is the Hubby and I sitting on our recliners, watching our favourite movie.
HOME is listening to LP singing while getting ready for school.
HOME is even hearing BP's stomps and groans as he throws another tantrum.
I am so very lucky that my boys are healthy and happy. They both may have strops and drive me completely insane but I wouldn't change them for the world.
That goes for the Hubby too.
I can get so frustrated sometimes, especially when I'm trying to tidy up and the Hubby insists on messing about or creating more mess. I'm easily annoyed at particular times in the month too.
But the Hubby makes up for the annoyances. He is such a caring man and I feel lucky to have met him.
My life changed for the better the day I met the Hubby.
Yes, my home is where my boys are.

DeleteHi Morgan, home is where the heart is for sure and as you said money and possessions can't replace that feeling of being loved. I'd rather be poor, loved and happy, than rich, sad and lonely.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the tag.
xx
I couldn't agree more Debbie, and that's something I always keep in mind. :)
