Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award

A little while ago I was tagged by Izzie who blogs over at The World According to Izzie for the Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award. Thanks Izzie!
Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award | Morgan's Milieu: Tagged by a blogging friend I now get to pass on the wonderful award.

Izzie asked ten questions that I have to answer and then I need to come up with ten questions for 7 bloggers I want to nominate.

I always love reading, and writing, these posts. It's a chance to get to know the blogger and an opportunity to share a little bit more about myself.

So onto Izzie's questions...

Champagne or Cocktails?

It would have to be cocktails, I don't really drink wine or champagne because I don't like the taste. Cocktails can be really lovely and you can justify fruit and umbrellas in your drink too. Sometimes even sparklers! Now that's my kind of drink!

What do you watch on TV when no one else is home?

I don't know that this ever happens - a chance to watch TV when I'm home alone. The chance would be lovely but I think I'd probably use the time to blog or comment on other blogs. However when I work on the blog I do like to have the TV on in the background. If I was home alone, working on the blog, then I'd have Lewis on the TV.

Name three people, dead or alive, you'd like to invite for dinner?

The first one has to be Michael Crichton, an amazing writer who I've admired for years. I'd loved to have been able to talk to him about his process and how he came up with such fantastic ideas for his books.

Ever since the beginning of Friends I've loved Jennifer Anniston. She is so stylish, elegant, and funny, that I'd jump at the chance to chat to her. I'd ask if she had any tips on make-up and fashion, and talk her ears off about Friends.

Finally, and this may surprise you, Eminem. In the past few years I have listened to his music and realised that it is not all about the usual nonsense that the rappers talk about. He is an intelligent man, a deep soul, who has been through a lot. I'd find it really interesting to talk to him.

How would your best friend describe you?

A lovely, caring friend and busy mum who would do anything for her friends.

What were the last three things you bought?

Tinned apples, oats, and desiccated coconut. BP was making a fruit crumble at school yesterday (it was lovely).

Do you have any hidden talents?

I like to draw, you know, sketch things. I love drawing Disney characters and if I ever find the time I pinch BP's 'how to draw' books. I love to lose myself in the creativity.

What do you wish you'd known at the age of sixteen?

That my stepmum was not a mean woman. She was doing her very best with a difficult child and she was more of a mum that my biological mum could've ever been. I wish I'd treated her better.

Chocolate - white, dark, or milk?

Milk all the way! Do not come to me with dark chocolate unless you want to be hit over the head with it!

What drives you completely insane?

Oh wow - so many things!
But the thing that comes to mind is having to constantly remind the boys to flush the toilet. You'd think after 1billion times of me saying it they would remember, but no.

Name your top three favourite books.

Micheal Crichton - State of Fear. An awesome book about climate change, it could get you questioning a few things.

Ben Elton - Past Mortem. I love a good whodunnit and this is one of the best.

Eric L. Harry - Society of the Mind. A HUGE book, really long and complicated, but it was such a good story. A must read.

Thank you Izzie for the Award.
