LP absolutely loves to read, he can't get enough. At the same time it's hard to find a book easy enough for him to read but challenging enough that it will keep him coming back. Monsters Love Underpants fills that spot.

In this book you read about different kinds of Monsters and the antics they get up to while wearing, or trying to find, their underpants.

The pictures in the book are bright and colourful, and every time LP looks at the monsters in their underpants he giggles.

The first time I read this book to him he listened intently and stared at the pictures. When I'd finished he grabbed the book from me and said he was going to read it himself. The rhyming made it very easy to read and even though there were some tough words LP managed okay.

The humour reminds me of The Dinosaur that Pooped series and LP loves those too.

Monsters Love Underpants was entertaining for both me and LP (who is 6 years old), and I enjoyed reading the last page. It prompted LP to look under his bed (somewhat fearful) and make sure there were no pants under there (just in case)!
