Post Comment Love 6th - 8th October

It's Friday again - how does that keep happening so fast? The start of the week is always slow but Friday seems to come around so fast and the year flies by. It's October and half term is creeping up on me. Anyway - let's get on with Post Comment Love shall we? Welcome back linkers!

If you don't know (where have you been?!) I don't have an internet connection at home - still. It has now been two and a half weeks since our internet went off and it's agony. I can't tell you how much I miss it. I have bought more data on my phone because otherwise I would be totally lost. So, again, please forgive me for not reading your posts - I promise I will get around to it just as soon as the internet goblins have left our house.

As for the rest of the week it's actually been pretty good. I was feeling down in the dumps, being left with no internet made me feel out of touch and a less than satisfying evening before Britmums Live resulted in the darkness descending around my head. I learned this weekend that I really am an introvert - a Friday night in a London pub proved how much I really hate that stuff. I ended up having to leave in a hurry - leaving people wondering what was up. Turns out I really can't cope with things like that, it came as quite a surprise to me. Anyway, back to the feeling down in the dumps... I happened to post a comment in one of my favourite Facebook Groups and my girls came to the rescue. After a chat with Michelle I was able to ignore the fact that I was missing the internet and use my time for something other than moping. Michelle is amazing and she showed me I didn't need the internet to feel like I was achieving something. Thanks to Michelle I have made a start on craft projects and I've pulled out one of my novels and started editing. This is HUGE.

I'm not putting any pressure on myself but it's great to feel like I'm achieving something despite being out of touch with the internet.

So how has your week been? Are you looking forward to the looming half term?
