Post Comment Love 9th - 11th December

It's time for Post Comment Love again and I'm back for another week of reading and commenting on your brilliant blog posts. We're almost at the end of the year, Christmas is just around the corner and everyone is ready for a break. I can't wait for a break myself and am looking forward to catching up on reading.

I've been slowly getting over the flu this week, I've still got a cough but am feeling better. My head is clearer and I'm able to get stuff done, or at least try anyway!

Has Christmas crept up on you? It has me, I realised yesterday that there's just 16 days until Christmas Day and I haven't started buying any presents for my family. To say I'm in a bit of a panic is an understatement. Not only have I got to get organised for hosting Christmas Lunch but I've got to do a lot of shopping too. I have no idea when I'll get it all done, more organisation is required. I'm going to have to have a schedule.

Like I said, I'm looking forward to a break. I can't wait to step away from the computer and reassess, I've been getting caught up in making things happen with the blog and it's become far too stressful. I'm not one for making things happen quickly, and while I'm motivated by online courses and encouragement from other bloggers I don't think the hurry to become an overnight success is for me. I've been neglecting the household duties, not having time to do the things I enjoy, and it's making me grumpy so it's definitely time for a re-think.

Until the break begins though I'll still be here every week, with Steph, hosting Post Comment Love and reading your great posts.

How has your week been?

Blogger Showcase Ashley from Ashley Legacy

Who are you?

My name is Ashley Legacy and I write a self-titled blog based on fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. I am an average teen girl who loves to write, drink tea, watch Netflix, and hang out with friends.

How did you discover blogs/blogging?

I discovered blogging by social media outlets, specifically Youtube. I love Tanya Burr, so when she first announced having a blog on her Youtube channel I got really excited at the idea of reading it.

Why did you start blogging?

I started Blogging because I personally love to read others blogs and I feel like it’s such a great way to communicate with others and share what you like and it really gives you the ability to share some really helpful advice/tips for others…

What do you find most challenging?

The thing I find most challenging has got to be balancing out my personal life, so school, work, etc. and then my blogging life. Sometimes I neglect one of them… I’m really trying to improve upon this!

Have you ever attended a blogging conference and if so, what did you think?

Unfortunately I have not attended a blogging conference! I live on the East Coast of Canada and blogging is not a huge thing around here. As I mentioned before, I have a crazy schedule so traveling isn’t really an option at the moment.

What are your 3 best posts?

Ooooh… I really like one of my first blog posts, it’s like a DIY Sea Salt Spray. I still use the product to this day to create beachy waves in my hair. Another favourite blog post of mine would have to be when I blogged about the NYX new product launch! It was such a fun experience and the fact that I got to share it with everyone was really incredible! Lastly I am really proud of my latest post. It’s a set by set tutorial on how to make these AMAZING chocolate chip cookies. I think that one was such a strong piece of mine because I worked so hard to get the photos just right and to word everything how I liked it. Needless to say I’ve had a few posts that I’m really happy with.

Describe yourself in three words!

This question is SO hard… I guess I’d say, carefree, compassionate, and hardworking!

Are you a tea and biscuits or coffee and cake person?

I’m definitely a tea and biscuits girl! Any type of tea and any type of biscuits I’m always down for it!

What's your idea of a perfect night in?

My perfect night in would be snuggling up on my couch, watching Netflix with no make up on. Maybe I’d order in like pizza or something…

What would your best friend/OH/mum or kids say is your best quality?

My mum always says that I’m a glass half full type of girl. This means that I’m quite optimistic and overall carefree.

    1. Thanks Catie, it's not worth jeopardising my family life for as far as I'm concerned. Yes, it would be lovely to get paid the big bucks but at the end of the day my family is more important and I won't put anything before them. :)
