What I Read 45

Things are finally settling down after a crazy few weeks. The boys are back at school and we're in a good routine, which means I can get back into my reading.

Catie who blogs over at Diary of an Imperfect Mum writes about her autistic son. In her post, Autism is... she talks about her son's presentation he gave at school, how he spoke about his Autism. Sometimes our children can make us so proud and I was really pleased to read Catie's post because I knew her boy had been practicing for a while.

@Youthedaddy is an uncle, he's has lots of experience playing with kids, babysitting, etc but he asks Will my experience as an uncle make me a good dad? He discusses the differences between being an uncle and a dad and looks to the future. A great read.

When it comes to so-called 'psychics' I'm a bit of sceptic. I have never experienced anyone knowing something about me they couldn't have known or work out and I don't believe that people have 'powers'. I'm not on my own in that opinion, it seems Laura thought like that too. That was until she visited one of these people and... Well, she tells the story so much better. Stop by her blog and read Do You Believe?

I marvel at some parents' strength and bravery, when they're faced with tragedy or challenging circumstances they just get on with it. They deal with situations that I don't think I could cope with. However perceptions are misleading and really I would probably just get on with it when faced with difficult circumstances. Louise speaks about just that in her post I'm a heart mummy but I'm not superhuman.

Did you hear about the new Instagram algorithm? Things are changing and some bloggers are worried about it. In Instagram's new algorithm: what is it and what should I do about it? Tim explains what the changes mean and what you need to do, if anything.

When it comes to blogging there are so many things you need to learn, so many different roles you have to take on. HTML is one of the more complicated things and if you're anything like me you kind of stumble along hoping you're getting it right. Well Jess has written just the post for you; Basic HTML for Bloggers. In it she tells you how to edit your text, add links to your HTML, even how to make your email clickable! I've been back to this post a few times already!
