What I Read 29

It's Sunday and that means it's time for more sharing of the blogging love with What I Read.

What I Read 29 | Morgan's Milieu: Ali, of Mum in a Nutshell, thinks about turning 40.

Ali over at Mum in a Nutshell is feeling nostalgic and wondering if getting older, and entering a new decade, will mean things have to change. In Will turning 40 mean leaving my happy place? Ali talks about her concerns. Turning 40 can feel like a big deal but really isn't it just another number? We make our life what we want it to be and I have no doubt that Ali has nothing to worry about. Why not pop over there and let her know what you think?

What I Read 29 | Morgan's Milieu: AgentSpitback shares an awesome post about mums

When someone asks you what you do how do you answer? If you're anything like me, as a mum, I often say "oh nothing, just the usual" and leave it at that. I loved this post from @AgentSpitback entitled What Do Mums Really Do? I could totally relate, and I think you will too.

What I Read 29 | Morgan's Milieu: Angela, of Daysinbed.com, offers tips and advice for bloggers.

Blogging is a never-ending learning curve and with terms like 'Domain Authority', and nofollow or dofollow links, it can feel like your head is about to explode. I'm always on the lookout for great posts to help with this stuff and I've found just that. Angela from Daysinbed.com has written a brilliant post for all of us who can't quite get our heads around it. Check out The Blogger's Guide to Domain Authority, nofollow and dofollow Links.

What I Read 29 | Morgan's Milieu: Tim from Slouching Towards Thatcham is suffering with a crisis of confidence.

If you've been blogging for any length of time longer than about a month I'm sure that you've doubted your abilities at some point. In the (almost) four years that I've been blogging I think I've gone through this a few times. Most of the time it's due to reading someone else's blog! Tim had a similar experience after attending Blogon and in Inspiration and a crisis of confidence he talks about the effect another blogger can have on you. Being creative is tough and anything can knock you off your game, the key is knowing that you are you and embracing that fact.

What I Read 29 | Morgan's Milieu: An awesome poem about cleaning with toddlers in tow from @rhymingwithwine

Cleaning is a pain, let's admit it. No woman on this earth could possibly enjoy it right? I try to minimise my cleaning time by doing it in small spurts. My boys are older now so I don't have to cope with cleaning with toddlers in tow, but I do remember what that was like. Once upon a time I cleaned the house... is a brilliant poem written by @rhymingwithwine about trying to clean the house with toddlers 'helping'. It'll have you in fits of laughter, check it out.

What I Read 29 | Morgan's Milieu: Wade from firsttimedad.club shares what he does for a living.

It's always lovely to find new blogs and when I stumbled over to Wade's blog I wasn't disappointed. In his post What is it that I do for a living? I'm a WebProMarketuer he talks about why he's come up with a new name for what he does. He loves what he does and it has allowed him to become a stay-at-home dad, how brilliant is that?
