Lands' End Winter Style

About a month ago I attended the Lands' End Style event where they introduced me and a few other bloggers to their autumn style range. It was a wonderful day and we had a blast.

After such a wonderful day I didn't think things could get much better, I was mistaken.

Lands' End Winter Style | Morgan's Milieu: Check out Lands' End for some brilliant quality winter wear, it'll last years!

When LP and I got home I looked through our goody bag and was shocked (but very pleased) at what I found.

Lands' End Winter Style | Morgan's Milieu: Boy's Squall from Lands' End with name label, and loop for hanging!

The first thing we pulled out was this Little Boy's Waterproof Squall Parka, a winter coat for LP. He was thrilled with it and wanted to wear it straight away.

The Lands' End Squall is waterproof and windproof with a 300-weight fleece lining. It has SnowGuard™cuffs which keep out cold and snow, LP was very impressed with this and walks around with his thumb through the thumbhole all the time. The Squall also has what they call Grow-A-Long™ sleeves, sleeves that extend up to 1.5 inches. This means that you can keep the coat for longer, it grows as your child does!

The best bits about this Squall though are not the obvious ones, a waterproof coat is brilliant but what about when you have to hang it up. These days I've noticed that most children's coats have to be hung by the hood. Not so with the Squall, there's a handy loop to hang the coat with and it's big enough that LP has no trouble hanging his own coat - WIN!

Then there's the handy name label. It might not seem like much but when you're constantly having to write names in clothes having a label there ready and waiting to be written on is lovely.

This winter coat is brilliant, it is fantastic quality and I have no doubt that LP will still be using it in 2 years.

Last year I bought myself some new gloves, I headed to the Reiss website and looked at their leather gloves. Once I'd settled on a pair I bought them and thought they'd last a while. It turns out I was wrong and although I loved the gloves I've worn them out. I didn't relish buying a new pair and that's why I was thrilled with one of the gifts in my goody bag.

Lands' End Winter Style | Morgan's Milieu: Cashmere-lined leather gloves from Lands' End; they're tough, durable and warm. Handy for any stylish woman.

The gloves pictured are Lands' End Women's Cashmere-lined Leather Gloves and they are the best gloves I've had in a while. When I tried them on I could tell straight away that they would keep my hands warm even if I was playing in snow, not that I do that of course! The lining is lovely and soft and the stitching is almost invisible.

Just looking at these gloves you can tell they're really good quality, putting them on confirms it. These cashmere-lined gloves will last me a long time, something else I won't have to buy again for a while.

Who doesn't love a good snuggle on the sofa under a good blanket on a cold, stormy night? Lands' End have the perfect blanket for such a night. We were gifted this Dream Chevron Chenille Throw in Navy too! The picture on the website does not do this blanket justice, it is thick and so, so soft.

Lands' End Winter Style | Morgan's Milieu: Chenille Throw from Lands' End in Navy, a lovely soft blanket for those dark, stormy nights.

A couple of weeks ago I was ill and spent most nights shivering on the sofa, until I remembered I had the throw. I grabbed it, draped it over myself and waited to be warmed. I loved the soft feel of the throw, it was comfy, and before long I'd warmed up. This throw warms you up fast!

Lands' End Winter Style | Morgan's Milieu: I couldn't recommend this throw more, especially if you're feeling ill. It'll make you feel better in no time.

I've just seen that the Throw is on sale too - go nab yourself a bargain, I promise you won't be disappointed.

Don't forget you can get a 30% discount too!

I'd like to thank Lands' End again for the lovely gifts we received, they will be used for years to come, a lot!
