The weeks are rushing by and my head feels like it's about to explode it's so full of things I need to do! Only four days left to get everything done, I'm feeling the pressure.

So I did manage to shift that extra weight and I think I'll reach my target as long as I don't let it slip this week. I've noticed some significant changes in my body over the past few weeks and I'm liking it. For a start my bra size has reduced a little and I'm able to fit into clothes that were tight a couple of months ago. This means I can take all my favourite bikinis on holiday and they'll actually fit!

With four days left and being able to see the end I'm more determined to stick to it. If I didn't hit my target I'd be disappointed. We've been walking a lot and plan on continuing this week, but we will give ourselves a rest on Thursday, we'll have too much packing to do. 

After all my progress I'm hoping not to gain too much over the holiday but I'm not going to let that interfere with me enjoying food and time off. We'll be doing plenty of walking and I certainly won't be able to overeat, the heat will sort that out.

Tip: On holiday? RELAX

When on holiday I'd say the best thing to do is relax. Forget about calorie counting, weighing yourself and the general stresses related to losing weight. Trying not to overeat is a good thing but don't get hung up on it and deny yourself that treat because it has too many calories.

Holidays are meant to help you relax and forgetting the diet is just part of that. 

This is my last Health and Weight Loss Tips until I return in September. I'll be back in the Autumn to report on the weight gain (possibly with tears) and attempt to get back into routine. I hope you'll join me.

      The holiday was crazy - eating, drinking, far too much sweet stuff, but also lots and lots of walking and keeping active. I'll be writing more about it soon. xx

  3. Some good tips - totally do not get hung up on enjoying yourself. Life isn't one big holiday and you have certainly earned this break, you go and enjoy yourself - you may surprise yourself when you get back. I have noticed that when I do blip on my diet, I am still making sensible eating decisions. Still an amazing amount of steps! Look forward to hearing about your holiday!     1. Thank you Sim. It's certainly a challenge not to eat when you're in America, the portion sizes are huge! Not to mention all the alcohol and desserts! I'll be writing an update soon to let you all know how I did. :)
