Health and Weight Loss Tips 26

Throughout the week I've gained and lost weight, and the deadline is just less than 2 weeks away. Now is when it gets really hard.

10st 5.9 lbs

105, 279 steps

The walking is really getting to us now and both the Hubby and I are ready to stop. I think it's the intensity of it all, it's too much. Over the past few weeks we've been trying hard and now we can see that deadline and we're ready for the dieting and exercise to be over.

It is so hard to stay focused when you're only a few pounds away from your target and your deadline is just around the corner. I miss eating burgers, and chips, and pizza.

The thing is, it won't be long until I'm eating far too much of that food. While we're on holiday I'm not going to think about eating healthily, I'll just enjoy myself. And yet, I still crave all the bad stuff. In the back of my mind is a niggling though, I know I'll be so disappointed if I don't hit my target.

Tip: Stay Focused

No matter how close you are you need to stay focused, only you can make it happen. If you give up just before reaching your goal you've only got yourself to blame, and that could crush you. Keep going, even if it's only 1 day, you can do it.

The Hubby and I will keep going, this two weeks will be over before we know and we'll be enjoying giant burgers, amazing lobster rolls, and Dole Whip ice-creams. Just thinking about it is making my mouth water!

I can wait, the Hubby can wait, and we WILL hit those targets.

  1. I think when you've been strict for a long time and the initial euphoria of results is kind of starting to wear off then, yes, it does get tough. I've totally hit a wall recently. I kept gaining and losing the same 3 pounds! I tried a meal replacement regime for a week, and I did get results, but I know I couldn't do it for a long time because I just like eating too much! Wishing you lots of luck! x

  5. Hi Morgan, two weeks can seem like a lifetime, but hang in there and you'll reap the rewards! And when you are on holiday do enjoy the odd giant burger, lobster roll and ice cream, but don't totally undo all your hard work as you'll only have to do it all again!

Well done to you and Hubby.

    xx

    1. Oh no I won't be doing that hun - there's so much walking to do on holiday that it all balances out. I can pretty much eat what I want because I'll walk it off during the day. Thanks for the encouragement hun. Much appreciated. xx
