What I Read 11

It's been a busy week but I'm enjoying blogging more than ever. Always happy to share the blogging love I'm back again with another What I Read. Enjoy.

What I Read 11 | Morgan's Milieu: #WhatIRead Badge

I love Linkys, who doesn't right? They allow us to share our own work and read other blog posts too. They bring bloggers together, whether through the theme of the linky or the prompt. So you can imagine my joy when I stumbled across another linky. Hosted by Rachel Hirst over at U Me and The Kids, #RetroBlogPosts Linky allows you to share any old post, any niche. Pop over there if you want to get some blogging love for an older post.

Blogging tips are great, even for those of us who have been blogging for a while. I don't often find anyone writing about blogging mistakes but that is just what Catherine Summers has done. Her post, 8 (more) Common Blogging Mistakes to Avoid is a list of things to check. I took action on one of them and headed to Gravatar.com to sort out one of my mistakes! Are you making blogging mistakes?

Suzanne from 3 Children and It wrote a post that I totally related to. Sometimes the day-to-day monotonous of life can get us down. The children's after-school clubs, play-dates and their constant bickering leaves us feeling like there's no end. In This Season... Suzanne re-focuses on the positive and lists the good things in her life. A great post that reminds us all not to concentrate on the negative.

The Prompt this week was 'Cinderella' and I loved Sara's post. She has been writing creatively for a while and her short piece of flash fiction was brilliant. Related to her previous piece, A Letter, I loved reading Cinderella and look forward to reading more.

Leigh of Headspace Perspective looked at the fairytale from a different angle. What Cinderella Tells Us About Life, Love and Happiness was a great post where Leigh talks about the realities of Love compared to the fairytale.

Finally a post from Jane of Our Little Escapades had me smiling while fighting the green-eyed monster. In her post, I was Cinderella for the day, she tells of how she married her husband at Walt Disney World. Regular readers will know how much I love Disney and reading Jane's post made me a little jealous. How awesome it must've been to have Mickey and Minnie Mouse at your wedding! A brilliant post with some beautiful photos.

Please do take a moment to pop over to the blogs mentioned and read them, if you have a minute maybe even comment.
