What I Read 8

It's almost the end of half-term, the boys are back at school on Tuesday and regular programming can resume. Or something to that effect.

Welcome to another instalment of What I Read, I've got some great posts in store for you today.

What I Read 8 | Morgan's Milieu: #WhatIRead Badge

Morgan's Milieu | What I Read 8: Brighton Mama shares a quote from Captain Corelli's Mandolin.

It was Valentine's Day last weekend and I came across a brilliant quote posted by Brighton Mama. The quote is from Captain Corelli's Mandolin which Brighton Mama says is one of her favourite books. Hop over to Our Seaside Baby to read.

Another post on love was I Love Me by Alexandra Mayhew. Alexandra talks about the different types of love and how, even though we don't love ourselves it is still possible to fall in love, sometimes with the wrong person. She decides that instead of looking for that Mr Right or The One she is going to take time out to date herself. I loved this post and you should take a gander at the post over at Those Words She Wrote.

Morgan's Milieu | What I Read 8: Mummy Tries writes about the pressures of life.

In Mummy Tries' post this week she discusses pressure. We all feel it and ReneƩ wonders if we should give ourselves a break, after all we're the ones that put pressure on ourselves. We want to be just like so-and-so or we wish we could be as successful as that blogger. Please click on the link to read, I promise you won't be sorry.

Morgan's Milieu | What I Read 8: Rebecca, From Roses, shares her cures for writer's block.

While browsing on Bloglovin I stumbled across a post about writer's block. The title read A Case of Writer's Block and being a writer myself I had to read. I clicked and read a brilliant post from Rebecca of From Roses. She talks about the things she does to shift the block and asks for any other tips. I'm sure we can all relate to this one!

Morgan's Milieu | What I Read 8: What is blog success? asks Media Marmalade.

How do you measure your success as a blogger? To be honest I have no idea, I don't know if I'm successful or if I'm just rambling to myself most of the time. A post from Media Marmalade made me realise that success can be measured in many ways and I needn't think I'm not good enough. I enjoyed reading this post and think it was quite an eye-opener. Go and read What is Blog Success?

Morgan's Milieu | What I Read 8: Aimee Horton is celebrating with Next Steps

And finally I wanted to congratulate Aimee Horton. In her post, Next Steps, she tells us she has signed a publishing deal and is excited about the next chapter in her writing career. This is great news for Aimee, she has the backing of a publisher who can help her with pressing that 'publish' button. I hope it goes brilliantly Aimee.

That's it until next week when I'm hoping to have a few more posts for you. Have a great week guys and enjoy it when the kids are back at school.
